lyrics
Dark hot nights make my body, red drips down my spine
I feel the Earth beneath my toes
I crawl with the small monsters, they make me feel alive
But back to the trees I go
Bring me back to life, color my skin
Lift me up so high, I burn with the light
Smoke fills my temple, burns my skin, covers my trail
Tries to keep me off the road
I smile, you vile creature cross my path to destroy
Yet I fly, I never die, you never know
Bring me back to life, paint my soul
Lift me up so high, I burn with the light
Bring me back to life, color my skin
Lift me up so high, I burn with the light

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo

For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst

The Belgian band explore heavy psych, tribal rhythms, free-jazz freakouts, meditative drone and the vast, shadowy spaces in between. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 22, 2020
This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021
