lyrics
Every time I look back at me
It’s not the same
My eyes see it first, my body it hurts
I’m floating, no room to stop
I’ve locked myself away
I’ve emptied my body
No, nothing within myself I find
I cry
My eyes see it first, my body it hurts
I’m floating, no room to stop
My legs they don’t work
My heart doesn’t feel the same
I’m empty on the inside
I don’t feel like I used to anymore
My legs don’t work, they don’t move like they used to anymore
I’m done, I am burnt, I don’t work anymore
Oh I am done with my body
I am done with myself, just throw me into the sun
I am done with my body, there is nothing left to use
I am lost, I am floating away
I am dark there’s no light shining through
I am gone, no tomorrow will be the same
I am flying through empty space
It’s so dark, there’s no light shining through
I am done, just throw me into the sun
I am here, I am ready, get it done.
I am dark with no light shining through
I’m numb, inside and outside, get it done
I don’t feel like I used to anymore
Where is the light that is shining through
I am sorry for putting my weight down on you
My eyes see it first, my body it hurts
I’m empty on the inside
My legs they don’t work, my heart doesn’t feel the same
I’m empty on the inside
Just throw me into the sun
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo

The Belgian band explore heavy psych, tribal rhythms, free-jazz freakouts, meditative drone and the vast, shadowy spaces in between. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 22, 2020
This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021
